WHAT IS TEAM COACHING?

Team coaching is a partnership between a professional coach and an intact team of managers or senior leaders to raise the performance of the team by creating opportunities to stretch beyond their current abilities.

TEAM CERTIFICATION PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Throughout the training program, participants will engage in interactive exercises, case studies, role-plays, and group discussions. They will also receive individual coaching sessions to apply their learning to real-life team coaching scenarios. The training program will be facilitated by experienced team coaches who will provide personalized feedback and guidance to enhance participants' skills.

By the end of the six-day team coaching skills training, participants will have gained a comprehensive understanding of team coaching principles and techniques. They will be equipped with the necessary skills to effectively coach teams, foster collaboration, and drive performance and success in their organizations.

In this training, you will learn the skills related to the five phases of team coaching

  • Phase 1: Establishing Strengths & Opportunities

    The team coaching process begins with identifying strengths and growth opportunities through Stakeholders Interviews, Team Diagnostic Survey to establish where the team is at that time.

  • Phase 2: Curating Goals and End Results

    The next step is to work with the team to establish their goal and focus areas based on the interviews and team survey results to create a focus for the project.

  • Phase 3: Team Coaching

    During this phase the team and the coach will work together to improved on the team’s effectiveness while enhancing their strengths further through a series of observations, feedbacks and reflections.

  • Phase 4: Team Self-Management

    The team tracks their progress and celebrates achievements and acknowledges milestones. The team coach gradually develops the team to self-observe and self-manage the growth to sustain their progress after the project.

  • Phase 5: Project Evaluation

    At the end of the project, the team reflects on their journey and celebrate their successes and continue working on their growth areas based on feedbacks received from the stakeholders and post diagnostic survey.

CMTC Program Summary

Program Design

  • Virtual over Zoom platform

  • 12 modules over 12 weeks (every Saturdays)

  • 4 hours per module (9am-1pm or 2pm - 6pm)

Total Team Coaching Education = 60 hours

Synchronous Learning = 48 hours (Facilitator-led training)

  • Team coaching competencies = 40 hours

  • Team coaching Group Supervision = 8 hours

Asynchronous learning = 12 hours (Assignments)

  • Book review (related to team coaching)

  • Self-Reflection Journal (1500 words)

  • Team coaching practicum and reflection (1 session)

ICF ACTC Eligibility & Requirements

Eligibility

  • Applicants must hold an active ICF Credential (ACC, PCC or MCC)

Requirements

  • Complete 60 hours of Team Coaching education

  • Complete at least 5 team coaching engagement within last 5 years

  • Complete at least 5 hours of team coaching supervision

  • Achieve a passing score of Team Coaching Certification Exam
